What an incredible day it was at the Build Yourself Up 5K! This year’s event was more than just a walk/run—it was a powerful gathering of community, connection, and cause. From start to finish, the energy was uplifting, the smiles were contagious, and the purpose behind every step was clear.
Thanks to the amazing support of our participants, volunteers, and sponsors, we proudly raised $1,000 toward our scholarship fund. This contribution will directly support students in pursuing their educational goals—making every step taken during the 5K truly meaningful.
Beyond fundraising, the event played an important role in raising awareness for autism. By coming together, we helped shine a light on the importance of understanding, inclusion, and support for individuals and families impacted by autism. It was inspiring to see so many people united for such a meaningful cause.
The day was filled with more than just walking and running—we laughed, played, connected, and built memories. Families, friends, and supporters of all ages came out to enjoy the atmosphere, reminding us all of the power of community when we come together with a shared purpose.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors: Publix, Powerade/Coca-Cola, Trader Joe’s, Chick-fil-A, and the City of Atlanta. Your support helped make this event possible, and your commitment to community impact does not go unnoticed.
The success of the Build Yourself Up 5K is just the beginning. Together, we are building something meaningful—supporting education, spreading awareness, and strengthening our community one step at a time.
We can’t wait to see you at the next one!
